£120m Fountainbridge Masterplan has been approved

MLA are excited to announce that our proposed £120m master plan for the Fountainbridge area has been approved by the City of Edinburgh Council. The master plan considers the development of 9,650m2 of land which currently separates the new Fountainbridge master plan site with the existing development at Edinburgh Quay.

This is a key regeneration project within the city, offering a real opportunity for sustainable civic and commercial investment into a major brown-field site which will create a long-term, sustainable mixed- use development in a unique canal-side environment.

This master plan seeks to complement and work with the principles adopted by the surrounding existing and proposed developments. In particular it seeks to dovetail into the Fountainbridge master plan and successfully complete the urban jigsaw to provide a framework for development in this part of the city.
