JUNE AWARDS FOR MLA

We are very proud that City Campus for the City of Glasgow College, delivered in collaboration with Sir Robert McAlpine, Reiach and Hall and Graven, took home the AJ100 Building of the Year Award. This is an incredible achievement – there was a very high standard of buildings that made the shortlist and the award and the judge’s recognition of the building’s contribution to Scottish and National Architecture is a great reward for the team’s hard work, congratulations to the College and all involved.

City Campus also received both an RIAS Award and an RIBA National Award. The RIBA National Awards are given to buildings across the UK recognised as significant contributions to architecture. At the RIAS Awards, City was included in a list of 12 which were deemed to represent “the very best of current Scottish architecture”.

Our Dalkeith Corn Exchange also took home an RIAS Special Award – The Historic Environment Scotland Award for Conservation and Climate Change. This award highlights examples of best practise in building conservation that embrace sustainability and supports the growth of traditional skills and trades, and local supply chain. We are delighted that our hard work and dedication to this historic building has been recognised with this award.

Congratulations to all involved!
