Belford residential project approved

It is with great excitement that we can announce that our Belford Road Residential Development for AMA (New Town) Ltd has been unanimously approved by the City of Edinburgh Council’s Planning Committee. Much work has gone into this project, the design of which has evolved over a significant period of time in a process that has fully involved the CEC Planning Department and the local community.

We think that the resulting design provides a compelling scheme that offers a sensitive and comprehensive development solution for the site, the key points of which are;

• The retention and renovation of Douglas House, a much loved but poorly maintained local landmark building.
• The replacement of Belford House with high quality residential buildings which are in keeping with and will enhance the local market.
• Responsive architectural proposals that respect and enhance the site’s unique setting and urban context.

We are very much looking forward to the next stages of this project, a landmark development for both the Dean Village and MLA!
