GILLIAN STEWART JOINS THE MLA TEAM

We are very excited to announce the appointment of Gillian Stewart as Director at MLA.

Gillian is one of Scotland’s foremost workplace designers and has worked with DEGW, haa design and most recently BDG architecture + design.

Her skills have played a critical role in the success of numerous projects for her clients, across all sectors and these range from Microsoft and JPMorgan to Pinsent Masons and Standard Life. Gillian’s expertise lies in developing an understanding of our clients, their business, people, culture and systems, which is key to designing spatial solutions which function, delight, and inspire.

The appointment has been made in line with the strategic business development plan at MLA. Gillian joins the practice to enhance and to help grow MLA’s business in Scotland and beyond. Gillian will be based at our forthcoming Glasgow office and will also lead the reinforcement of our Glasgow presence.

Workplace design is one of our core business streams. Working closely with Kenny Fraser, Director of Workplace and Interiors; Gillian will bring a wealth of expertise at the front end of projects; analysing client’s requirements, creating briefs and formulating workplace strategies. We believe that the combination of Gillian, Kenny and the existing Workplace and Interiors team will be a very powerful force in the market and will attract a broader set of clients and projects.
