MLA WITH REIACH & HALL COMPLETE SUCCESSFUL HANDOVER OF RIVERSIDE CAMPUS
Continuing the expansion of our portfolio in the educational sector, MLA have completed on the Riverside Campus which we are delivering with Reiach and Hall Architects.
We are delighted to announce that the Riverside Campus has reached this milestone on schedule, having been successfully handed over on Monday 17th of August 2015 after construction within an extremely tight programme!
The City of Glasgow College was formed through the merger of Glasgow’s Central, Metropolitan and Nautical Colleges into a single institution in 2008 – requiring the consolidation of the college from twelve separate legacy sites onto two new campuses located at Cathedral Street and the Riverside.
The college will be home to around 1,500 staff and 40,000 students and will be at the heart of the city’s envisaged learning quarter, with the Riverside Campus also providing accommodation for around 200 students.
The new estate will allow City of Glasgow College to realise its educational vision and provide the learning community with fit for purpose facilities.
