Planning permission granted for Dales Manor Business Park

Plans for a new Lab/Office development have been given the green light at Dales Manor Business Park. We’ve been working on designs for a three-storey flexible building for Abstract Securities in Sawston near Cambridge and we’re delighted that planning permission was granted yesterday.

Divided into two main buildings volumes and connected by a central core comprising lifts, stairs, common areas and toilet accommodation, the highly flexible building design is ideal for future tenants of this speculative development.

As well as creating affordable lab facilities within the Cambridge area, Abstract Securities aim to deliver a Net Carbon Zero development and are targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and an EPC Rating of ‘A’. Over-provision of cycle parking and a significant number of EV charging points delivering high quality and functional facilities will encourage sustainable forms of transport and promote active travel.
