Plans for new Highland Distillery given the go ahead

Planning permission for a new distillery in Dornoch has been granted by Highland Council this week.

Together with Blyth & Blyth, The Paul Hogarth Company, Scott Hobbs Planning, Allen Associates and ITP Energised, we have been working for Midfearn Distillery Company Ltd to create designs for a new distillery on the shores of the Dornoch Firth, Sutherland. The development aims to support local industry, employment and community whilst also creating a distillery and product that prioritises environmental sustainability.

The new distillery will be distinct, modern and sympathetic to its surroundings. It is inspired by nature, it’s beautiful location, rolling hills and organic forms in order to fit seamlessly into the landscape.
