MLA at the BCO Awards

We are very excited to have three projects shortlisted in this year’s BCO Scotland Awards, which will be held in Glasgow on Friday.

Each year the BCO Awards celebrate excellence in office space – recognising top quality design and functionality and a benchmark for excellence in workplaces.

We’ve been working on a wide range of office projects over the past year, so we’re delighted to have three projects featuring across three different categories.

Brodies LLP at Capital Square, in the Fit-Out of Workplace category

The fit-out for Brodies LLP new office on the top three floors of last year’s Commercial Workplace winner Capital Square is our first shortlisted project.

Coming from a traditional law firm, Brodies wanted a bold transformation of their space that supports and enhances the working lives of their colleagues and experiences of their clients.

They have created a destination office where their people want to be – providing choice and variety of spaces – and put the focus firmly on wellbeing.

M&G building at Kildean in Stirling, in the Corporate Workplace category

Designed for Cromwell Property Group and M&G plc, this is the first building within Kildean Business Park in Stirling.

A high quality building which sets the standard for future development, it has been designed and built with sustainability, well-being, inclusion and accessibility at its heart, providing a contemporary and modern working environment for the client.

Phase 1 of the Borders Innovation Park in Tweedbank, in the Commercial Workplace category

Located within a former quarry opposite the Tweedbank Railway Terminus, this is the first phase of the newly established Borders Innovation Park. We worked with Scottish Borders Council to create a distinctive gateway to the new mixed-use technology park, with the iconic Eildon Hills providing a natural backdrop.

The building is flexible, efficient, easily expandable and promotes well-being with the aim of setting a modern benchmark for future commercial development within the Scottish borders.

These three projects are a great showcase of our portfolio, from innovative new buildings to a stunning fit-out, where all three prioritise the wellbeing of the occupiers. We are incredibly proud of our team for their hard work and dedication in bringing these projects to life.

Best of luck to all the finalists at this week’s awards. There will be quite a few MLA faces at the awards lunch, so please come over and say hello – we look forward to seeing you all there.
