MLA were appointed to work on transformation of 200 Broomielaw, a 9-storey office building nestled along the riverfront of Glasgow’s Financial Services District. Working closely with our client, AM Alpha, we redefined this space into a modern and sustainable working environment.
Our approach centred around enhancing the entrance and arrival experience, with a new reception area and business lounge, filled with warm, natural materials.
Office floors have all been refurbished to create standard floor plates and an enhanced focus on wellbeing sees the basement area refurbished to create a habitable space for bike storage with high quality changing and locker facilities.
200 Broomielaw now boasts an array of sustainable credentials, including an EPC A rating, BREEAM Excellent and is fully electric from 100% renewable sources. Additionally, it achieved a Platinum CycleScore and features a number of electric car charging points to encourage a more sustainable commute.
