The St Boswells Distillery will be the first and only Scottish Borders based producer of single grain whisky spirit and grain neutral spirit. It will utilise green energy created on site to process cereals grown nearby, resulting in an efficient, sustainable facility. MLA worked on the proposals with the client, Jackson Distillers to create a home for process, administrative and well fare facilities, along with a bespoke V.I.P tasting room. Working to a process design and layout by Frilli Srl, a clean industrial aesthetic has been applied to the distillery building, using robust materials that identify purpose and create identity for the brand.
