MLA were delighted to work in partnership with BT on the full refurbishment of two of their key regional offices, as part of their Better Workplace Programme.

The sister project to BT Belfast’s Riverside Tower, Alexander Bain House is situated on the edge of Glasgow’s waterfront within the heart of the Financial District, and totals approximately 170,000 sqft of office space.

Our design places technology and communication at the heart of the refurbishment, providing a social, flexible and collaborative environment that is targeted towards enhancing the workplace for the staff that work there across a diverse range of teams and requirements.

Our concept brings a new approach to BT’s workspace, with finishes, furniture, branding and worksettings all getting a thorough overhaul to support the Better Workplace Programme. A key feature is the ‘Agora’, a bespoke structure which occupies the spacious atrium floor to create a central hub for collaboration and socialising.
